Hi, I am Max Pete, a Community Builder based in San Diego, CA. I have been working in community for over 3 years and was most recently the Senior Community Lead at SuperHi. Prior to my role at SuperHi, I was the first community hire at Freelance Founders where I helped facilitate a community of freelance professionals. Back during the beginning of the pandemic, I got my start working in the community industry by accident due to job burnout, loneliness, and looking for a career reset. Now looking back, I am thankful for coming across this industry and excited to be a part of it. Beyond working in the community space, I love making playlists and mixes. I’m also very passionate about advocating for limb different people and am on the board of the non-profit organization Design With Us and a volunteer coach with Nubability.
