We are the most connected generation in decades, but we are more lonely and divided than ever. People crave meaningful connections. The future is something social media algorithms can’t serve: niche communities.
That’s why we decided to build Amity—a tech scale-up enabling anyone to transform their apps or websites into a digital community with ready-to-use features such as chat, profiles, feeds, forums, and more. We proudly power the communities of global brands like Harley-Davidson, Ferrari, Noom, and the World Economic Forum. We are 100+ passionate people, spread across five offices – London, Milan, Bangkok, San Francisco, and São Paulo.
As a founding team member, I had my hands in a lot of different things, from putting together our first deck to supporting international expansion. Currently, I am a VP leading two passionate teams: the Community team, advising companies on building in-app digital communities and social products, and the Demand Generation team, supporting Amity in generating awareness and demand.
Previously, I led strategy development and oversaw the e-wallet expansion for Thailand’s first and leading fintech unicorn ($3.7B payment volume) in 5 international operations – Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Cambodia. And prior to that, I built the sourcing operations from China for one of Southeast Asia’s biggest auction e-commerce companies.
My background is as diverse as my interests. I’m a generalist who thrives on learning new things and solving problems. I also love traveling; I lived and worked in 7+ countries, and all of my roles so far included international travel.
